Fanout is run by Alvseike, a sole proprietorship registered in Norway (Org.nr. 921 279 485 MVA). This page says plainly what we store, why, and how to get rid of it.

What we store

• Your email address. It is your account — there is no password to store.
• Your posts. The text you write, any image you attach, when it should go out, and what each network said when it went.
• Access tokens for the accounts you connect. Encrypted at rest (AES-GCM) and only ever decrypted to publish on your behalf.
• Basic product events — signed up, connected an account, published for the first time. No cookies for tracking, no advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics scripts.

What we never do

• We do not read, mine, or train anything on your posts.
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers. There are no ad networks in this product.
• We do not post anything you did not write and schedule yourself.

Who else touches it

Only what it takes to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage), Resend (the sign-in and failure emails), Google if you choose Sign in with Google (they see the email on that account so we can match it to yours), Polar (payments, as merchant of record), and the social networks you connect — each receiving only the post you asked us to publish there.

Where it lives

Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Some processing happens outside the EEA; the transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses in Cloudflare's data processing addendum.

How long we keep it

Your posts and delivery history stay while your account exists. Sign-in links expire in 15 minutes and are deleted daily. Sessions expire after 30 days. Delete your account and everything above goes with it.

Your rights

You can see, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Disconnecting an account destroys its stored tokens immediately. To delete everything, use the delete option in the console or email hello@usefanout.com — we act within 30 days, usually the same day.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
